Delivering with Purpose: 20/20 Plumbing & Heating Supports Affordable Housing at Decatur Commons with Nevada HAND
At 20/20 Plumbing & Heating, we take pride in contributing to projects that make a lasting impact. Being selected as the plumbing contractor for Decatur Commons, a major affordable housing development by Nevada HAND in Las Vegas, was an opportunity to support a community-focused initiative while applying our expertise in a meaningful way.
About Decatur Commons
Located at the corner of South Decatur Boulevard and Alta Drive, Decatur Commons offers 480 thoughtfully designed apartment homes. Half of the units are reserved for low-income families and the other half for low-income seniors. The community serves residents who fall between 30 percent and 80 percent of the area median income. With one, two, and three-bedroom options, these homes are designed for comfort and accessibility.
More Than Just Housing
Decatur Commons was built with people in mind. Nevada HAND designed the property to support daily life, wellness, and connection. Residents have access to onsite services, a fitness center, playground, pool, computer lab, community rooms, and a dog park. It’s a place where families can grow, neighbors can connect, and stability can thrive.
Our Contribution
The 20/20 Plumbing & Heating team was responsible for all plumbing systems throughout the property. From underground work to final installations, our crew ensured every detail was handled with care and precision. Every sink, shower, and faucet installed supports the daily routines of the people who call Decatur Commons home. We know how much that matters.
Why It Matters
This project is more than another job. It’s an opportunity to help create something meaningful. Every apartment we help complete becomes someone’s home. Being part of that process fuels our passion and pride in the work we do.
Looking Ahead
We’re thankful to Nevada HAND for the opportunity to contribute to this important community. As we look to the future, we remain committed to supporting developments that make a difference. We’re not just building plumbing systems; we’re helping build stronger communities.
